Marketplace management

How do I manage Amazon, eBay and bol.com from one place?

Every marketplace comes with its own portal, its own listing format, its own order flow and its own settlement report. Staff end up bouncing between tabs all day, and stock and numbers still never quite line up between them. What you need is one control room that feeds every marketplace and reads orders and settlements back into one place.

Why marketplaces multiply the work

Why running marketplaces separately does not scale

Every marketplace is its own tab

Amazon Seller Central, eBay and bol.com Partner Platform each hold their own listings, orders and settlement reports, so staff spend the day switching between portals just to see the whole picture.

Listings live in three places at once

Updating a price or a description means doing it three times, in three different formats, and it is only a matter of time before one marketplace falls out of step.

Stock and numbers never quite line up

Without one stock authority, each marketplace works off its own allocation, so a unit sold on Amazon can still show as available on eBay until someone notices.

Settlement reports do not read like order lists

Fees, commissions and adjustments arrive in formats built around the marketplace, not your orders, so tracing real per-channel margin takes real work every cycle.

What good looks like

One control room. Every marketplace feeds it, and reads from it.

Listings, stock and orders push out to Amazon, eBay and bol.com from one place, and orders, settlements and fees flow back into the same system. Nobody logs into three portals to answer one question. Per-marketplace margin is a fact you can see, not a report you have to build by hand.

How we do it

Odoo becomes the control room, marketplaces plug into it

We build the backend on Odoo, the open-source commerce ERP, and connect each marketplace to it with connectors we build and maintain ourselves, including our own bol.com connector and Amazon and eBay integration. Odoo owns the real stock number and pushes it out everywhere, and settlement fees and adjustments are matched back to the orders they belong to automatically.

This is proven, not theoretical. We built and maintain the open-source bol.com API client behind several UK and NL sellers, and it has been relied on by George Mountanos at Technotrading specifically because reconciling marketplace orders by hand stopped being realistic past a certain scale.
