Who we are

Dreambits Tech Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales, based in London. We are the data controller for personal data collected through dreambits.co.uk. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@dreambits.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Enquiry and booking data: the name, work email, company, phone number and any details you share when you use a form, download a resource, or book a call. Used to respond to you and, where relevant, to deliver services you engage us for.
  • Marketing sign-ups: if you subscribe to updates, we hold your email and subscription preference until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use analytics data to identify individuals.
  • Email and business records: correspondence retained as part of normal business records.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not ask for it in our forms.

Lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests to respond to enquiries and run our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Steps to enter into a contract where you ask us to scope or deliver work.
  • Consent for non-essential analytics and marketing cookies, and for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting our lawful use of your data before withdrawal.
  • Legal obligation where we must keep records for tax or compliance reasons.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, deliver services you have engaged us for, send updates you have asked for, and improve the website. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the processors needed to run our business, under appropriate agreements. These currently include our website and form infrastructure (Cloudflare), our email provider, our analytics and scheduling providers (Google), and our own CRM system where your enquiry is recorded. Each is used only for the purpose described here.

Where your data is processed

Our own systems are operated in the UK. Some processors, including Google, may process data outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@dreambits.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.

This policy should be reviewed by your legal advisor before publication. Last updated: August 2026.
