What the work involves
- BoM and routing fidelity. Multi-level BoMs, by-products, operation-specific consumption and routing that mirrors your actual factory flow, because scheduling built on fictional routing schedules fiction.
- WIP and cost accuracy. Work-in-progress valuation and production cost capture customised to your costing policy, up to and including real-time WIP recognition (see the case study).

We build to order with constant engineering changes. Can Odoo cope?
Yes with the right design: engineering-change-aware BoM versioning and order-specific variants. It's configuration plus discipline, and we implement both.
Can you make subcontracted operations work properly?
Yes, subcontracting flows (materials out, finished goods in, subcontractor costs captured) are standard-plus-customisation territory we've delivered.
How disruptive is MRP customisation to live production?
Staging-first delivery and phased activation mean the factory keeps running. We schedule cutovers around production calendars the same way we schedule retail around trading.
