Integrate Amazon with Odoo
Amazon is a revenue machine with rules of its own: SP-API rate limits, FBA stock you don’t physically control, settlement reports that arrive in Amazon’s format on Amazon’s schedule, and fees that quietly eat margin. Integrating Amazon with Odoo is about making all of that visible and automatic.
We connect Amazon as one channel among many, so your Amazon orders, stock and settlements live in the same Odoo database as your Shopify store and wholesale operation.
What we connect
- Order import via SP-API. FBA and FBM orders flow into Odoo with marketplace, fulfilment channel and buyer information, respecting Amazon’s data privacy constraints on customer PII.
- FBA stock visibility. Inventory sitting in Amazon fulfilment centres is tracked as its own stock location in Odoo, so your total stock picture includes what Amazon holds, not just your own warehouse.
- Settlement reconciliation. Amazon pays out in aggregated settlements with referral fees, FBA fees and adjustments netted off. We import settlement reports and reconcile them against orders so finance sees true per-order margin.
- Multi-marketplace support. amazon.co.uk, .de, .nl, .fr and beyond, each mapped to the right taxes and prices, which matters for UK brands selling into the EU post-Brexit.
- Repricing and stock feeds. Stock levels push from Odoo to Amazon on schedule, and price updates can flow from Odoo pricelists, keeping listings aligned with your actual commercial rules.
How a marketplace connection is built
- Seller account and API access sorted first. Credentials, permission scopes and sandbox access where the operator offers one. This step is routinely the slowest, so we start it on day one.
- Listing and offer mapping to their standard. Marketplace operators reject data that doesn’t meet their taxonomy and attribute rules, so your Odoo product data is shaped to pass their validation rather than ours.
- Order lifecycle and despatch rules encoded. Marketplaces measure late despatch and cancellation rates, and they penalise both. The sync is built around their clocks, not just their endpoints.
- Settlement reconciliation into the ledger. Commissions, fulfilment fees, returns and payouts reconciled against the marketplace’s own statements, so your margin per channel is a fact rather than a guess.
- Go-live watching seller metrics. Production launch with monitoring on both the sync and your seller performance dashboard for the first trading cycle.
