Shopify Connector Changelog
How the Shopify-Odoo connector is versioned and maintained. Because we built it rather than resell it, updates ship on our schedule, not a third party’s, and Shopify or Odoo changes get handled before they become your emergency.
The live release notes ship with the product; this page explains how updates reach you.
What this looks like in practice
- Maintained against a moving target. Shopify deprecates API versions on a published schedule and Odoo ships a major version every year. We track both and update the connector so your integration keeps working across those changes.
- Fixes we ship, not wait on. When something changes upstream, the fix is ours to make. You’re not queued behind a reseller’s backlog waiting for a vendor you can’t contact to notice.
- Upgrades handled with your Odoo. Connector upgrades are part of any Odoo migration we deliver, so moving Odoo versions doesn’t strand or break the integration.
- Backward-compatible by intent. Updates aim to preserve your configuration: invoice modes, sync rules and store mappings survive an upgrade rather than needing to be rebuilt.
- Release notes with each version. Each release ships with notes covering what changed and anything that needs your attention, so an update is never a silent surprise.
How the connector is delivered
- Standalone from £899. If you’re already on Odoo, the connector is installed and configured for your stores from £899, with the sync rules and invoice mode set to your process.
- Or as part of an implementation. Most clients take it inside a full Odoo build, delivered in roughly 6 to 10 weeks, so the connector and the rest of the system go live together.
- Configured on staging first. Sync rules, catalogue mapping and invoice mode are set up and reconciled against real data on staging before anything touches production.
- Reconciled before you trust it. Order counts, stock and payment totals are checked across Shopify and Odoo until they agree on evidence, not optimism.
- Optional monitoring after go-live. A support retainer watches sync health and error queues, so issues surface to us before they become oversells or a customer complaint.
